We had some very positive audience feedback from our video ideas pitch. Some people said our idea was very creative, and that the stop frame animation should enhance our ideas and bring them to life. Others said the main story is going to capture childlike, fun qualities because the car is going on a journey, and using a toy also highlights these qualities. The class also liked our plan to include the band performing, because this still makes the video realistic. The majority of the class agreed that our chosen song fits the theme of our video well and that stop frame animation will work well together with the music because of the predominant beat and fast tempo.
We were given some very useful ideas too which we are planning to also include such as filming inside a real car to create an effect of looking out the campervan window, to include some colourisation which we had already thought about, and also to use big flowers to create a transition between shots fitting the theme of the campervan.
